World Day of Sustainable Gastronomy
This June 18 we celebrate the Day of Sustainable Gastronomy. The set of dishes and culinary uses of a specific place is one more expression of the natural and cultural diversity of the planet.
With the celebration of this Day are trying to promote eating habits more respectful of the environment and local traditions.
This type of gastronomy can play a fundamental role in sustainable development, especially of the less favored communities, since it promotes agricultural development, food security, nutrition, sustainable food production and biodiversity conservation.
