Cycle "Biographies Ampostinas" in Amposta
A new edition of the cycle of lectures "Biographies Ampostinas" is held at the Museum of the Lands of the Ebro. A conference that aims to recover and disseminate the history of people rooted in the city of Amposta. The cycle "Biographies Ampostinas" is organized by the City Council of Amposta, the Museum of the Lands of the Ebro and the Extensive Campus of the URV, with the collaboration of the Diputación de Tarragona.
As is already tradition, the cycle presents four characters rooted in the earth and influential in the current history of Amposta: the Ruiz family, for its tradition
musical; Llul Garcia, for his influence on the gastronomy of the territory; Clara Salvadó, as a cultural reference of the city; and Carlos Conde, a man passionate about music.
The conference cycle aims to recover and disseminate the experiences and work carried out by people linked to the city of Amposta. Presented by local researchers, collaborators and family members, the colloquiums will discover personal and collective histories of relevant characters for the city, which will also help us to reconstruct the contemporary history of the city. All the conferences will take place from January 21 to February 24, at 7:30 p.m., in the Assembly Hall of the Museum of the Ebro Lands.
