Càntut Festival in Cassà de la Selva
The Càntut Festival. Songs of oral tradition brings together about twenty proposals during concerts, workshops, exhibitions, literary presentations and workshops with names such as Maria del Mar Bonet, Miquel Gil, Arnau Obiols, Paula Grande and Anna Ferrer, Raices de Gracia and the Barber, among others. 75% of the proposals are free and the rest with tickets from € 4 to € 20 that can already be purchased on the festival website.
The Càntut project works year-round to collect and disseminate the music of oral tradition and, during a weekend, this work is also visible in the form of a festival. Cassà de la Selva becomes the epicenter of this repertoire, with a festival that wants to make live some songs that are part of the culture of the Catalan Countries, in addition to providing attendees occasions to sing in community.
