Maldà
Malda municipality of l'Urgell, is situated on the left bank of the river Corb and delimits the region of Les Garrigues and is very close to the Conca de Barbera. He lives mainly on agriculture: vineyards, olive, almond i cereals. The first two activities have own Denomination of Origin for wine "Costers del Segre" oil and "Les Garrigues".
The first remains found are the site of the old village are vintage Maldanell and Iberian. Formerly there was a settlement and a watchtower or a castle, but today only find the hermitage of Sant Joan de Maldanell. We can also see a dolmen, tombs carved into the rocks, ceramic samples and great views.
Malda has the Romanesque church of Sant Pere twelfth-century, with a single nave and apse Square, with the Church of St. Mary of the eighteenth century neoclassical style, i with the remains of the medieval castle of the twelfth century.
