Catalonia Industrial Tourism Week 2025 awaits you!

Industrial Tourism Week (STI) 2025, promoted by the Industrial Tourism Network of Catalonia (XATIC), will celebrate its eleventh edition from October 17 to 26 with a broad and varied program of activities that will take place throughout the country. During these nine days, museums, companies, and heritage sites will open their doors to bring the public closer to Catalonia's industrial heritage and showcase its current vitality through immersive and participatory experiences.
The opening ceremony will be held on Friday, October 17th, in Esparreguera, at the Museo de la Colonia Sedó, which this year commemorates the 175th anniversary of its founding. The historic setting will be the ideal starting point for a week that aims to combine memory, innovation, and proximity.
The coincidence with this celebration gives the opening a special significance, in line with XATIC's desire to strengthen the connection between industrial heritage and contemporary society.
The program of activities will include guided tours, workshops, exhibitions, themed routes, family activities, and culinary offerings. Throughout the week, numerous facilities will offer open doors and special demonstrations that will allow visitors to understand the operation of traditional machinery, discover ancient production processes, and relive the industrial history that has shaped Catalonia's economic and social progress. All of this makes the STI a unique, active, and sustainable tourism experience.
With the slogan "Discover how things are made," the Week reaffirms its commitment to showcasing Catalonia's industrial heritage and promoting cultural and experiential tourism aimed at families, friends, locals, and visitors seeking original experiences. The 2025 edition aims to establish itself as a benchmark in the cultural and tourism calendar, offering activities that combine knowledge, fun, and excitement.
