Boí Taüll, where summer touches the sky

Discover Boí Taüll. Located in the heart of the Lleida Pyrenees, the mountain resort of Boí Taüll is much more than a place to escape the heat: it's a gateway to nature, adventure, and a different kind of summer. At 2,000 meters above sea level, in the Alta Ribagorça region, it offers a spectacular setting for hiking, cycling, stargazing, and, above all, disconnecting from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
With privileged access to the Aigüestortes and Estany de Sant Maurici National Park, Boí Taüll is the ideal starting point for exploring one of Catalonia's most iconic natural spaces. The proximity of the Romanesque Boí Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, adds a unique cultural layer to any getaway. And to top it all off, the valley's night sky offers exceptional conditions for astronomical observation.
This summer, Boí Taüll resort offers a wide range of activities for all tastes and ages. Are you going to miss it?
Pure adrenaline: the 200-meter zip line
If you want to start the summer with a dose of pure excitement, the new 200-meter zip line is the most direct way to feel the heart of the Pyrenees. With a double slide, you can take the plunge as a couple or with friends and share a dizzying descent over one of Catalonia's most impressive landscapes.
The activity, located at the base of the resort, is ideal for brave little ones and adventurous adults. Suitable for all ages, it's the new symbol of active summer in Boí Taüll.
New features at altitude: the Vaques chairlift now offers panoramic views
For the first time this summer, Boí Taüll is operating the Vaques Chairlift as a leisure lift, open from the second half of July until the end of the season. With a 20-minute ride, this trip not only takes you to the heights but also connects you with one of the best viewpoints of the entire valley and the peaks of the Alt Pirineu.
Once at the top, you have the pleasure of descending on foot following one of the many marked hiking trails Boí Taüll has prepared. The return walk, with unique views, becomes a unique experience of contact with nature.
A sky to fall in love with: astronomical experiences
Few areas of the country offer skies as clear and dark as the Vall de Boí. And to take advantage of this, two astronomical observation sessions are being organized this summer that promise to be exciting:
- August 1: Session with the Aigüestortes National Park
- August 16: Observation with the Montsec Astronomical Park
In addition, Boí Taüll has inaugurated a new astronomical observation deck at the base of the resort, transforming this space into a true Starlight center. And if that weren't enough, the Starlight Observatory on the P2 parking walkway offers a new way to discover the universe... from the heart of the Pyrenees.
Hiking with added value
Boí Taüll offers six marked hiking trails that allow you to discover hidden corners of the area on foot. But it's not just about walking. On August 13th, a guided tour of the National Park will take place, including a climb to Cabo de Vacas, a proposal for those who want to delve deeper into this unique natural area.
For families or anyone who wants to combine nature with learning, the virtual scavenger hunt is a fun and cultural experience exploring the heritage and ecology of the Boí Valley. Ideal for groups, with children, or as a personal challenge.

Electric motorcycles for the little ones
The little ones in the house also have their own adventure area: the children's electric dirt bike circuit. Designed for boys and girls ages 3 to 10, it offers two age categories and easy-to-ride bikes.
It is located between the Vaques and Junior ski lifts, and has specialized personnel who guarantee a fun and safe experience.
Pedaling through the Pyrenees: electric bicycles
The bicycle is consolidating its position as the most popular way to discover Boí Taüll in the summer.
The station offers:
- Rent electric bikes to enjoy free descents around the area.
- Guided e-bike tours, with specialized guides and adapted to all levels.
A sustainable, active, and unique way to explore the area's trails, forests, and panoramas.

With a 5.1 km route, 344 meters of elevation gain, and 11 destinations to locate and scan, this activity combines nature, culture, and play. The starting point is the station itself, and it is estimated to take about 2.5 hours to complete.
Who's it for? Everyone: families, athletes, hikers, orienteers, or just anyone interested in exploring the Boí Valley from a new perspective.
