Gastronomic Days of the Galera of the Lands of the Ebro
The fishing municipalities of Alcanar, L'Ametlla de Mar, L'Ampolla and Sant Carles de la Ràpita come together to offer gastronomic menus that feature the galley, local product and quality typical of the Ebro Sea.
This crustacean, abundant in areas near deltas where the waters are rich in nutrients, is an excellent source of high quality proteins, vitamins and minerals.
Unlike other crustaceans, the galley is low in calories and easily digestible. Its meat is fine and tasty, which facilitates its preparation.
The restaurants will offer menus with cream of galley with mushrooms and seasonal vegetables, roast of galleys, fried galley, among others. And all this accompanied by wines from the territory of the DO Terra Alta.
