Festival of the 'Mare de Déu de la Salut' in Gelida

On Easter Monday, Gelida celebrates a day filled with tradition, culture, and homage, with a program designed to be shared with the entire community.

The festival will begin in Plaza de la Vila with the departure of the parade led by the local authorities and the Bastoners de Gelida, heading towards the Parish Church of Sant Pere. There, the Easter Mass will be celebrated, dedicated to Our Lady of Health. The Parish Choir will perform the "Gozos" composed by maestro Pere Vallribera, and at the end of the service, the traditional blessed bread will be distributed.

The event will continue with the Senior Citizens Tribute Party in the UCG Performance Hall, featuring performances by various cultural organizations in the municipality. As a token of affection and recognition, all senior citizens attending will receive a gift from the City Council.
