Amposta Trade Fair
More than 50,000 people visit the Amposta Trade Fair every year, which celebrates a new edition!
The origin of the Amposta Trade Fair must be sought in the old livestock market. Some historians point out that during the Middle Ages it was already celebrated, although it was not until 1825 when it became official.
Over the years, the Fair changed dates until it was fixed in December, during the Purísima Festival. Relaunched in 1960 as the Livestock and Agricultural Machinery Fair.
Currently, it has become one of the most important fairs in Catalonia due to the great diversity of industrial, agricultural and commercial offers that visitors can find.
