Vilanova de l'Aguda

Municipality located in the northeastern end of the region of La Noguera (Lleida), in the Llobregós river valley, on the border with the counties of Alt Urgell, Solsonès and La Segarra.

The municipality is formed by 5 population centers: Vilanova de l'Aguda, Ribelles, l'Alzina, Guardiola and Vilalta, where we find different castles, churches, hermitages and chapels; as well as thirty-five farmhouses: six from the town of Vilanova, twenty-two from Ribelles, five from l'Alzina, and two from Guardiola.
