Foixà
The municipality of Foixà brings together four historic towns in its municipal term: Sidillà, Sant Llorenç
of the Arenas, the Hall and Foixà.

Central Foixà comprises three different neighbourhoods: La Vila with the castle of the barons and counts, Cuells with the parish church and the palace of Can Ribot, and finally Los Masos in the center of all of the above.
The landscape of Foixà comprises rocky base elevations with a characteristic Terraprim forest, which separate the
Flaçà and La Pera and support the inhabited nuclei, and the agricultural alluvial plain and the river Ter interposed with the rest of the County of Empúries extending in front to the profile of the Albera, at Cape Norfeu, the Golf de Roses, El Montgrí, Les Medes and the Garganta del Ter, to the place of Pals and Begur.
The basic network of historic paths allows leisurely visits on foot or by bicycle, being inseparable from the landscape itself.
