There will be children's workshops, a magic show and at the end Bingo. All this accompanied by distribution of chestnuts for everyone.
Beyond the traditional celebrations with family and friends, the Castañada has become, in recent years, a fun and festive day, where parties of all kinds are celebrated in many towns and cities.
La Castañada is a popular festival that is celebrated throughout Catalonia on the eve and feast of All Saints, and consists of a meal based on toasted chestnuts, cooked sweet potatoes and panellets, accompanied by sweet muscatel wine.
