Concabella Castle Music Festival in Els Plans de Sió
The medieval castle of Concabella, in this town of La Segarra, in the municipality of Els Plans de Sió, hosts the XVIII Castell de Concabella Music Festival, which consists of 3 concerts:
The first concert, on Saturday, October 7, 2023, will be given by the Sikarra Consort chamber group, which will perform a program titled Obres mestres del Baroque.
On Saturday, October 21, 2023, the great pianist Josep Maria Colom will offer a recital of Catalan and Spanish music.
And the third concert will be performed by the Zukerman Trio. This, however, and exceptionally, will be held on Sunday, April 7, 2024 and not in October and on a Saturday as would be expected. On the program there will be works by Schumann, Saint-Saëns and Beethoven.
All concerts will be held at the Concabella Castle, at 7 pm.
