You will find from flatter routes along the bottom banks of the valley, roads and forest tracks suitable to do with the whole family, even more demanding routes, aimed at the most prepared cyclists. Is it ready? Put on your helmet and glasses that we started!
At the beginning the route follows the road in the direction of the ski resort of Boí-Taüll and after 3 km it takes the old track that leads to the entrance of the station. From this point, you will go through the station on a dirt track that reaches the Cabo de Vacas viewpoint at an altitude of 2,310 meters. From this moment, with privileged views begins a technical and pronounced descent that is carried out largely by out of the way, between meadows. In the Collada de la Llobarança it is linked to the track that acts as a dividing line between the mountain of Durro and Taüll. When it is over, a technical and pronounced descent begins again, off the road, which leads to the road of the ski resort. Following it arrives again at the Pla de la Ermita.
This route follows the Durro Fauna interpretation route and visits the Romanesque hermitage of San Quirc de Durro. It is a short route, although there are sections of the road with very steep slopes. In the first section, the route runs along the asphalted track that, in less than 2 km of gentle ascent, leads to the Romanesque hermitage of San Quirc de Durro. From there a flat stretch of track leads to the beginning of a path that goes up to the track of the Codó. From this moment, the descent begins, at first by track and then by a path that leads to a viewpoint. After this last section of a lot of unevenness, we continue along a wide path between the forest that reaches the Durro track.
Route that runs through the Barruera, Erill and Salencar de Barruer a Plans, without practically unevenness, recommended for families. The route follows the river Noguera de Tor: a first section transits along the right bank of the river, making a round trip through the Plans; and a second section, on the left margin, with a circular loop around Salencar.
The route begins in the Plaza de Arriba of Erill la Vall taking a traditional road trram that descends to the road that goes to Boí. Extreme precautions, you have to pedal this way for 300 meters until you reach the beginning of the track of the Cultia. Then, the climb begins along the track that maintains a constant and bearable slope at all times. Crossed the Planamolín ravine, the route begins to trace short routes and continuous rodeos inside the peripheral zone of protection of the National Park of Aigüestortes and Estany de Sant Maurici. After crossing the head of the ravine Ribampiedro, the track ends in the meadows of the huts of Erill or Basco. The descent is made following the same itinerary.
At the beginning, the route gains altitude until a crossing of tracks that we find 4.3 km from the exit. At this point, you leave the track that will be used in the descent, to continue going up the cattle valley of the mountain of Durro. After crossing the gorge of Ginebrell, it ascends to the mountain divide of Durro and Taüll. In this section, and with privileged views, the route gives a break, making gentle ups and downs. After the Ball Game, a descent begins following a steep track with sharp curves that ends up connecting with the route used in the climb.
