Route of the Fita Alta in Sidamon

This route has as its starting point the town of Sidamon, where you can get both from Lleida and from Barcelona by the N-II.

You have to be at kilometer 480 of the road. From here we head into the urban expansion of the periphery along Avenida de la Generalitat and continue along the track that follows.

We will find a fork. We will have to continue on the track on the right. Further on we find another fork and this time we will have to take the direction to the left. On the left is a booth. You have to go up to a track that is above a field of olive trees.

Already on the ridge of the mountain range, we follow the ridge to the Fita Alta antenna, clearly visible from this point. Although this hill only reaches 290 meters the view extends from the Montsant (to the south) to the Montsec (to the north).

Then you have to head west, towards the tip of the sierra. The descent will be made by a path that goes 50 m below the end of the mountain range. Soon we will reach a crossroads where we must take the one on the right to return to Sidamon, the end point of the route.
