Raffle: Mona Foundation

This May a special raffle awaits you. femturisme.cat and the Fundació Mona want to raise awareness about the problems faced by primates. Do you know what chimpanzees like to eat? Do you know how they laugh or how we can know they are sad? Come and discover Bongo, Africa, Nic's story, Coco's journey and many others.

The chimpanzees and macaques that live in MONA are confiscated animals that have had a very difficult or even cruel past. Many of them were used by the show. Others were raised by human families as if they were children, until they grew uncontrollable and were locked in small cages. All of them were separated from their mothers from an early age and did not have the opportunity to establish social bonds with their peers. They never came to understand what they really are: wild animals or humans.

The isolation, loneliness and unfortunate treatment of her previous caregivers have caused physical and psychological problems from which she tries to recover with a new life at Fundació MONA.

That is why we want to raffle 4 double tickets where you can choose between the following:

• Visit by adults
• Visit for families with young children (3 to 5 years old)
• Visits with a game of clues for families with older children (6 to 12 years old)
