Living Nativity of Corbera de Llobregat
Who has not heard of Corbera's Living Crib? The population is a reference during the Christmas holidays for its living representation of the birth of Jesus, in Bethlehem, and that has become intangible heritage being one of the most important and visited in all of Catalonia. This famous manger is represented since 1962 and is one of the oldest in the country.
More than 200 actors put themselves in the skin of the characters of each crib scene, in the incomparable setting of the natural landscape of the Peña del Cuervo. This month of December and until January 13, coinciding with the Christmas festivities, you can walk the 700 meters of this manger and mingle with the living figures that participate, such as the angel of the annunciation, the shepherds, the washerwomen, the child Jesus and the family of Nazareth, merchants and people who perform various trades. In addition, carols are sung and the tió is made to shit. In short, a unique experience that you can not miss!
