Sant Jordi Festival in Cubells
Cubells celebrates the Festival of Sant Jordi!
The Department of Culture and the Mareselva Women's Association, on April 23, on the occasion of Sant Jordi Day, will set up a stall selling books and roses in front of the Hostal Roma from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. In case of bad weather, the stop would be located at the association's premises.
It is one of the most beloved and preferred traditions of the Catalans. And what a beautiful tradition we have in Catalonia! Although tradition says that they give their love a rose and she gives her love a book, the truth is that today it is about celebrating free love and literature day.
